Parents are our key partners in achieving success for children. We share detailed reports of children’s progress on all seven learning areas each term. In addition, all children undergo entry assessments with accompanying detailed reports for parents, highlighting the child’s age-band scores and action plans to address any areas of concern identified in the assessment. We provide weekly home learning activities to develop children’s learning and progress. This also encourages some structured time with parents to work in partnership with us to meet their child’s next steps. We hope all new parents will continue our strong tradition of cooperation and partnership work. “The manager and staff value strong partnerships with parents. They consult with them regularly to consistently agree children's next learning steps and offer highly practical information about how to build on these at home” (Ofsted report, 2018/2019).
