Precious Smiles also has a highly effective SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Team lead by the Director, and supported by other members of the Management Team. We work closely with our Area SENCO and other professionals for example, Teacher of the Deaf, Auditory Specialist, Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language therapists. Having experienced professional’s working closely with children, helps early identification of additional needs. We will work in partnership and consultation with parents to ensure children receive a swift response to meet their needs. In a recent Ofsted inspection report, the Inspector wrote “The manager and staff monitor the progress of individual children and different groups extremely well. This enables them to identify any gaps rapidly and provide exceptionally strong support for children to make very swift progress in their development” (Ofsted report, 2018/2019).
