Precious Smiles Preschool and Nursery in Goodmayes (Goodmayes Branch) is a warm and nurturing setting on Green Lane, with a bus stop directly outside our entrance and Goodmayes station five minutes' walk away. We have been part of the local community for over ten years and offer fully funded places to eligible children aged 2 to 5 years. Our experienced early years educators speak many languages between them, so children from multilingual families feel at ease when they first start with us. We work closely with local community organisations, libraries and parks to enrich children's weekly timetable and feed their curiosity and sense of adventure. The nursery décor changes seasonally so children can experience the changes in their natural environment and be surrounded by the visual details of each new season.
Choosing where to leave your two-year-old for the first time is a big decision. Parents who visit us in Goodmayes tend to say the same thing afterwards — it felt so calm. That calm is deliberate. Children here follow the same safe rhythm every day: a cheerful greeting at the door, the same welcome song, stories and rhyme time on the carpet, out into the fresh air after snack and lunch, and back for focused learning. At this age, knowing what comes next is what gives a child the confidence to try something new. Within that rhythm come short bursts of intentional learning through play - sounds and letters, counting and comparing, investigating and measuring - small steps, built on day after day. Sand, water, paint, dough: we encourage every kind of malleable and messy play too.
